Amethyst and Moss Studio creates creative, cinematic imagery rooted in emotion and honest connection. Based in Los Angeles and New Orleans, my work blends ethereal softness with bold editorial edge, documenting moments as they unfold, unguarded, intimate, and real. No forced posing, just gentle guidance and real moments.
Through a fusion of digital photography, immersive video, and select film imagery, I tell visual stories shaped by feeling and memory. The result is imagery that feels nostalgic, dreamlike, and rich with emotion.
My photography journey
My journey with photography began in high school, documenting every moment for my school’s community service club on film. I launched my business in 2011, focusing on weddings and newborns. After a pause with weddings to focus on my own children and newborn sessions, I’m thrilled to return to wedding photography, bringing a refined eye for light, emotion, and storytelling.
As an introverted empath, I delight in subtle gestures and fleeting expressions, capturing the emotions that often go unnoticed. My goal is to turn these ephemeral moments into lasting memories, images that feel nostalgic, dreamlike, and full of feeling.
With an offbeat, playful spirit, I enjoy weaving personality and humor into my work. I love collaborating with easygoing couples who embrace both natural and posed moments, creating images that are authentic, intimate, and unforgettable.
